Mrs. Roxie Johnson, Humboldt, died Friday evening at the North Care Center, Humboldt. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Congregational Church, Humboldt, with Burial at the Union Cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Art (LaVonne) Skyie, Goldfield, Mrs. Robert (Iola) Houston, Pine, Colo.; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bess Nelson, Humboldt.

Roxie Underberg was born near Livermore, where she was educated. She later attended Humboldt College. She married James Johnson in 1909 at Humboldt, and the couple lived in several communities, and farmed in the Humboldt area. Upon retirement, the couple lived at Millerton. Mr. Johnson died in 1956, and at that time Mrs. Johnson returned to Humboldt.
