Final rites were held at the Baptist Church in Gilmore City Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs. George R. Hansen (Anna Catharine Christensen), who died Sunday evening, March 1 at her home. The Rev. J.S. Shroder officiated at the sermon, and interment was made in Marble Valley cemetery at Gilmore City, with the Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt in charge.

During the services, a quartet, composed of Carroll Jensen, Howard Hansen, Mr. Elston and Lloyd Nicholson sang, with Mrs. Howard Hansen at the piano. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Pete Peterson, Mrs. Lloyd Nicholson and Mrs. Roberts.

Deceased was born in Sindal, Denmark on February 18, 1877. Her husband preceded her in death in 1939. Surviving are two sons, Elwood of Fort Dodge and Ray of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter Mrs. Eunice Storer of Gilmore City, and a brother Nels Christensen of Gilmore City.
