Louise Sophie Sinn (nee Koppe) was born May 24,1872 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and passed away February 24, 1942 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hilda Telshaw at Hinsdale, Illinois. At the time of her death, she had reached the age of 69 years, 9 months and two days. For the past several years she had been in failing health due to heart trouble.

Mrs. Sinn came to Iowa with her parents at the age of nine years and settled in Humboldt County where she spent the greater part of her life.

In 1894 she was united in marriage to Adam Sinn and they moved to a farm near Livermore, Ia. In 1919 they moved to Dakota City where she has spent the rest of her life except the past six months which were spent with her daughter in Illinois.

Mr. Sinn preceded her in death in 1933.

She leaves to mourn her death four daughters, Lillian Sinn, Mrs. Hilda Telshaw, Mrs. Esther Koob, Mrs. Mabel Lonning, nineteen grandchildren, also two sisters, Minnie Koppe and Emma Koppe.

She was loyal and unselfish, devoted to her home and family, always grateful for the kindness shown her by her friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Beaver Township, with the Rev. G.E. Mensing officiating. Burial was in the Union Cenetery at Livermore with the Lindhart Funeral Home in charge.

She was good as she was fair And none on earth above her. Pure in heart as angels are, To know her, was to love her.
