Funeral service for June Ferguson, 83, was conducted by the Rev. Remigio Panlaqui at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 21 2004, in the United Methodist Church at Livermore. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Livermore with the Wilson Funeral Home of Livermore in charge of arrangements.

June Keesy, daughter of Charles and Hertha Platt Keesy, was born June 3, 1921, at Lincoln, Iowa. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1938 and later from the Beauty Academy at Fort Dodge.
She married John "Jack" Ferguson on September 28, 1940, and for 45 years they owned and operated the Ferguson Barber and Beauty Shop on the main street of Livermore. They were named Grand Marshals of the Livermore Days celebration in 1994. Mrs. Ferguson retired after her husband's death in 1995 but continued to make her home in Livermore.

June Ferguson died Thursday, June 17 2004, in her home. She is survived by loving nieces and nephews: Katherine Brunson, Betty Smith, Jill Bailey, Rodger Hilton and Charles, Kenneth, Robert, Martin and Richard Keesy. Her husband, parents, a brother and one sister preceded her in death.
