Peter A. Sorensen, 70, Passed Away Friday At His Home In Humboldt

Funeral services for Peter A. Sorensen, 70, retired Humboldt farmer who died Friday afternoon at his home in Humboldt following a heart attack, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wesley M. Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Merlin Nelson sang during the services, accompanied by Mrs. Wesley Anderson.

Burial was in the Union Cemetery with the Lindhart Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Sorensen is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harold Larsen of Humboldt, Kathryn Sorensen of Algona and Mrs. Paul Graves of Emmetsburg; one son, Royal Sorensen of Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Nelson, Mrs. Peter Simonsen and Mrs. Chris Freis of Humboldt, and one brother, Chris Sorensen of Humboldt.

He was preceded in death by his wife, July 15, 1956, his parents and two brothers.
