REPORT DEATH OF FAYETTE STODDARD AT LIVERMORE SUNDAY

LIVERMORE -- Fayette Jasper Stoddard, 82, died Sunday morning March 22 at 2:30 o'clock at the Harry Clark home of heart trouble and the complications of old age. He had been in ill health for a number of years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist church with Rev. Whitman in charge. Donavan's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement and burial was in Union cemetery.

Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Stoddard, and he was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He came to Franklin county, this state, when he was three months of age, later coming to Humboldt county.

Mr. Stoddard was married to Miss Alice Barcume about 63 years ago. She preceded him in death May 2, 1921. Five sons and daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Hiram Hewitt and Guy Stoddard of Livermore, and Clarence, Merle and Margaret deceased.
He is also survived by one adopted son Glen of Omaha, Nebraska, 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles Armstrong, John Tuttle, Charley Brown, Chester Stoddard, John Seger and Frand Hoffmann.
