I have recently found a document that can link the Michael Ott (1855-1934) family from the St. Lucas, Iowa area to the John Ott (1854-1903) family from the Cresco, Iowa area. They were brothers, Michael immigrating in 1883 and John in 1899. Anyone interested in continuing to build on these two Ott families can contact me at the email address provided.
