OBITUARY.
Miller.
Minnie Mary Elizabeth Mackenburg, daughter of Hannah Mackenburg, was born Oct. 13, 1863, at Motzel, Pomerania, Germany. At the age of three she came with her parents to America, locating at Waukesha, Wis., where they remained two years.
In 1869 they moved to this county which has since been her home. She was baptized in infancy and brought up a member of the Lutheran church and remained a faithful communicant member; its interests were always dear to her.
March, 1889, she was united in marriage to John Miller. This union was blessed with seven children, three sons, Archie, Zenas, Lawrence, and four daughters, Mabel (Mrs. Max Knuth) Zella, Macie and Amelia, all of whom survive her with the exception of Archie, who died in infancy. She has been a patient suffer{er} for seven years and during that time has been under the constant care of doctors and best medical science. Loved ones did all in power to relieve her sufferings and restore her to health.
She is survived by two sisters and five brothers, her oldest brother having preceded her to the great beyond. She passed away Wednesday Feb. 5, surrounded by her loved ones.
Funeral services were conducted by Immanuel Lutheran church by her pastor, Rev. John Pless, with burial at New Oregon cemetery.
