Mr. and Mrs. Griff. Owens went to Lime Springs yesterday to attend the funeral of the former’s sister Mrs. Tom Hughes.

Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Hughes and daughter Adeline went to Lime Springs, Wednesday, to attend the funeral of the former’s mother, Mrs. Tom Hughes.

Mrs. Tom Hughes passed away on Monday forenoon. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon from the M. E. church.

- Mr. and Mrs. Ben Colby came last Tuesday noon, called here by the death of Mrs. Colby’s mother, Mrs. Tom Hughes.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary Ann who was born Nov. 3, 1855 and died Feb. 3 1919. She is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. It also shows her maiden name spelled Owen.
