Mrs. H. C. Berry passed away Tuesday morning at her home in the east part of the city. The funeral was held at the home yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with interment in New Oregon Cemetery. Her only son, Del. J., and his wife, from Shellsburg, Wisconsin, attended the funeral.

BERRY.
Sophia Yerrick was born April 23, 1853, at Naperville, Ill., and at the age of three years, moved to Marble Rock, Iowa, where in 1872 she was united in marriage to Hiram Berry of Cresco, who died March 6, 1897. Mrs. Berry passed away June 11, 1918, at the home where she has resided for nearly forty-six years, aged 65 years, one month and 18 days.
She leaves one son, Del. J. Berry, of Shullsburg, Wis., two brothers, Adam Yerrick of Greene, Iowa, and Oliver Yerrick of Waterloo and five sisters, Mary Comstock, Eliza Chamberlain and Amelia Bedell of Marble Rock, Ia., Lavina Larther of Chicago and Melva Masters, of Joplin, Mont., all of whom but two sisters attended the funeral, together with a nephew, F. J. Burns, and four neices{sic}, Mrs. F . J. Burns and Miss Larcher, of Chicago, Mrs. Joe Burge of Waterloo and Mrs. Gertie White of Marble Rock.
The funeral was held on Thursday last and she was laid at rest beside her husband at New Oregon.
