OBITUARY.
HEINICKE.
August Herman Heinicke was born in Alenburg, Saxony, Germany, Aug. 4, 1844. He came to Fon du Lac, Wis., in 1868 and to Cresco in 1870. April 14, 1872, he was married to Pauline Hecht. For a number of years he worked at his trade of blacksmith in Cresco In 1894 he moved onto a farm near Davis Corners where he remained till 1912, when he returned to Cresco. His wife died Aug 7, 1915, and he passed away on May 23rd very suddenly. He leaves to mourn his death one son, 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Pless were held May 25th and burial was in Oak Lawn.
