Norbert R. Wilson
June 13, 1936 - July 5, 2005

Norbert R. Wilson, age 69, a resident of Atwater passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his home peacefully with his family by his side.

He was born June 13, 1936 in Cresco, Iowa to the late Gilbert F. and Eleanore Wilson. Norbert served in the United States Air Force, for 28 years. On April 14, 1956, he was united in marriage to Berverly A. Hohrhauser in Cresco, Iowa. Norbert was honest, loving, religous, a conservative patriotic and for a while our man, to love, cherish and respect. We will miss him, his presence, his strength, his kindness, love and generosity shown towards his family and others will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly A. Wilson of Atwater, CA.; three sons: Raymond A. Wilson of Fremont, CA.; Robert A. Wilson of Arlington, WA. and Ronald A. Wilson of Daytona Beach, FL; a brother, Gordon F. Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Ioa; sisters: Margaret Bronner of Cresco, Iowa and Maureen Hunt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and 8 Grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Donald Wilson.

A Memorial service will be held at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Holy Cross Lutheran Bellevue Road in Atwater, Pastor Ruclare Pauling will be officiating. The Merced County VFW Honor Guards will be conducting military honors.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers & Alcorn in Atwater.
