Frank Bouska, aged 47 years, passed away Monday evening at his home at Vernon Springs, after a few weeks’ illness from Brights’ disease. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place Thursday morning at the church of the Assumption, with interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery. Mr. Bouska was one of the county’s most respected citizens and progressive farmers, and leaves a wide circle of friends and neighbors to join with the wife and children in mourning the loss of a true husband and father and a kind friend and neighbor.

OBITUARY.
BOUSKA.
At his home in Vernon Springs Twp. Monday, May, 22, Frank Bouska age 47 years, 1 month anti 25 days. Deceased was born in Winneshiek county, March 27, 1869, living there till manhood. In 1891, he was united in marriage to Grace Slebiska, and was the father of five children, four of whom are still living-two sons, Ed and Raymond, and two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Sebastian and Mrs. Peter Murtagh; also father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bouska, four brothers—Chas. Theodore and George of Protivin and Godlove of Chester, Ia.; four sisters Mrs. Mrachek of Cresco, Mrs. Phillip and Mrs. Puffer of Conover and Mrs. Slebiska, of Calmar, all of whom were present at the funeral.
Services were conducted by Father Murtagh and Father McDonald after which the remains were taken to the St. Joseph Cemetery for burial, followed by a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives.
The circumstances attending the death of Mr. Bouska are very sad. He was one of the county’s most respected citizens and progressive farmers and leaves a wide circle of friends and neighbors to join the wife and children in mourning the loss of a true husband and father and a kind friend and neighbor.
