Eldredge Wanless, a brother of P. A. and O. G. Wanless, died in Oregon on Friday last and the remains were brought to Cresco for interment, the funeral being held Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Gammons. The deceased, who was unmarried, left this state 52 years ago, making his home since at various points in the west.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Eldridge and that he was born July 9, 1837 and died May 17, 1916. He is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
