M. B. Doolittle has been advised of the death, on June 27th, of his brother, M. H. Doolittle, of Washington, D.C, at the advanced age of 93{?} years. The deceased has for many years been is gover{n}ment mathematician in cost survey work, and has also done work for France and other foreign countries.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1830 and is buried in Linden, Maryland.
