M. B. Doolittle Passes Away.
M. B. Doolittle, who for several months has been in a serious physical condition, was taken much worse a few days ago, a stoppage of the bowels being the cause. Almost from the first, his life was despaired of and at about nine o'clock Tuesday evening the end earner
The funeral takes place this morning at 10 o'clock at the Congregational church.

DOOLITTLE.
Moses Bartholomew Doolittle, son of Jared and Phebe Wilcox Doolittle, was born March 7, 1833, in Hancock County, Vermont. When he was but 5 years old his mother died, leaving him, an older brother, and a sister younger than himself, to battle with the world. He came to Howard County in the year 1856 and pre-empted the farm from the government on which he lived and where he died July 15,1913, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 8 days.
The funeral services were held from the Congregational church on July 18th, Dr. D. T. Robertson officiating.
