The remains of a former Howard county resident, Mrs. Abe Allen, was brought to Cresco Monday afternoon, for interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery where her husband is buried. She passed away Friday, April 18th, at her home in Eau Claire, Wis. The Allen family were at one time residents of Howard Center township, and Mrs. Allen was a sister of the late Patrick Quinn.

Transcriber’s Note: Calvary Cresco Cemetery shows this was Catherine who was born in 1833.
