Alfred Wentworth, youngest son of A. N. Wentworth of Friona, Texas, died suddenly Saturday night at St. Louis, and the remains were brought to Cresco yesterday morning by the father for interment here.

Alfred Cleveland Wentworth was born in Cresco Dec. 21, 1884, and died March 1, 1913.
All of his early life was spent in and about Cresco, his parents moving to Texas about five years ago. Alfred worked for his living in Duluth, Oklahoma City and Topeka, Kan., afterwards going to St. Louis to live where he resided at the time of his death.
He leaves a father, one brother, Walter of Granger, Minn., and three sisters, Jennie, Armina and Frankie, also of Minnesota, to mourn his death.
The relatives have the sympathy of their many friends extended to them in their sorrow.
Funeral services were conducted from the M. E. church by Rev. Soper and burial was in Oak Lawn cemetery.
