OBITUARY.
MITCHELL
Alice S. J. Booth was born in New Oregon township, this county, March 2, 1856. She was the tenth child of Moses and Louisa Booth.
She was married, April 26, 1879, to Myron Orlando Mitchell, and to them two children were born, Frank Myron, who now resides at Seattle, Wash., and Leslie Orlando, who still remains at home.
Mrs. Mitchell was converted under the evangelistic labors of Mrs. Caldwell 21 years ago, and joined the M. E. church of which she was a member when she died.
Aside from a three year’s residence at Alden, Minn., her home has always been near Cresco. She died within six miles of the place of her birth, Dec. 24, 1910, after a painful illness of four days, being 52 years, 9 months and 22 days old.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Gammons were held from the home, Monday, at 10 o’clock. Interment was in Oak Lawn.
