An old man named Peckham, formerly from Winneshiek county passed away Monday at the poor farm, where he has been living for a couple of years, and was buried in Oak Lawn on Wednesday.

PECKHAM.
Cyrus O. Peckham was born in Verona, Oneida county, N. Y., in 1832. He moved to Iowa in an early day where he resided till his death. He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ella Wentworth, for several years, but for the past two years he lived at the county farm. He leaves two sons, Cyrus and George, and one daughter, Ella, to mourn his death. The remaining relatives are very grateful to those who did so much to make his last days on earth as free from pain as possible.
