Mrs. Charles King, of Omaha, passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Geo. H. Kellogg, after a long illness from which, however, she was thought to be recovering until a short time before her death.

BROOKS.
Minnie Brooks, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Brooks, was born in Ossian, Iowa, Nov. 5th, 1872. On Nov. 5th, 1905, she was united in marriage to Mr. Charles H. King of Omaha, Neb. They made their home there until about two months ago when she came to the home of her sister, Mrs. G. H. Kellogg, of Cresco. She had been in ill health for some time and was thought to be improving until a short time ago when she began to fail rapidly and passed away Dec. 1st, 1910. She leaves to mourn her loss, husband, her father and two sisters Mrs. G. H. Kellogg of Cresco and Mrs. W. H. Cummings of Belton, Mont.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Gammons were held from the home of Dr. Geo. Kellogg Tuesday morning at ten o’clock. Burial was in New Oregon cemetery.
