Thos. McCarville passed away last Monday at his home in Paris township, after a long illness, and was buried on Wednesday. We are promised an obituary for our next issue.

OBITUARY.
Thomas H. McCarville died at his home in Paris township, Aug. 29, 1910, after an illness of about five months from blood poison caused from his teeth, aged about 59 years.
Mr. McCarville was born in LaFayette County, Wisconsin, and moved with his parents to Howard County about forty years ago and was united in marriage to Margaret Brophy, Nov. 9, 1874. To this union twelve children were born, of which four preceded him to the grave.
Thomas McCarville was a straight, upright man, honest in all his dealings, always ready to lend a helping hand, was a good Christian, a kind and loving husband and father, and leaves to mourn his loss, a sorrowing wife, three daughters, five sons, three sisters and four brothers, and many other relatives and friends.
Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Thole assisted by Rev. Fathers Gunn and Tibeau, of Elma, and the remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Lourdes. May he rest in peace.
