OBITUARY.
Raymond Aaron Baker, son of Henry and Margaret Baker, was born Feb. 4, 1884, in New Oregon Twp., where he lived until the family moved to Cresco in 1905. He passed away June 23, 1910, after a long illenss{sic} from a complication of diseases.
He never knew the joys of health, but was of a sunny and cheerful disposition and was always patient and uncomplaining.
His last weeks of intense suffering were borne with a resignation and a fortitude that offered a beautiful ex-ample to all around him. Although his death was expected, his passing was a severe sorrow to his parents, sisters, and brothers, who are left to mourn his loss.
The funeral took place at St. Joseph’s church at ten o’clock last Saturday Morning. Requiem Mass was said by Father Murtagh, who also paid a beautiful tribute to the life and memory of the deceased. Interment was in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
