S. A. Miller Dead.
Our Lime Springs correspondent elsewhere in this issue tells of the illness of S. A. Miller at Minneapolis. Yesterday afternoon a telegram was received stating that his death occurred at 3 o’clock p. m. The remains will arrive in Lime Springs this afternoon and the funeral will doubtless be held on Wednesday, in charge of the Masonic fraternity.

S. A. Miller died at the Northwestern hospital in Minneapolis Monday of heart failure. His death was not caused by the heat as was first reported. The funeral, conducted by the Masonic Lodge, was held in the Presbyterian church Thursday at 3 p. m., from which place the remains were taken to Pleasent{sp} Hill cemetery for interment. Those who were present from away were Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Farrington and daughter of Winnebago, Allen S. Miller, and Will Miller of McGregor, R. Miller and Steve Hamilton, Ed. Miller and wives of Cresco, and several others.

Transcriber’s Note: Pleasant Hill Cemetery shows he was born in 1843.
