OBITUARY.
BRONNER
Amelia Bronner, (nee Dempewolf) wife of John Bronner, was born in Hannover, Germany, July 30, 1843, and died very suddenly of heart failure in her home in Albion Twp., Howard County, Iowa, on the evening of April 25, 1910.
When but a child she, with her parents, emigrated to Canada, where the family resided several years, and finally, in 1858, coming to Howard Co., Iowa, where the rest of her life was spent.
On June 15, 1861, she was married to John Bronner and moved on the farm where she died. Thirteen children were born to this union, two of whom preceded the mother in death. Those who mourn her very sudden departure are her sorrowing husband, five sons — Samuel, of Mason City; Daniel, of Albion Twp.; Frank, of Cresco; Albert, at home; and John, of Granger—and six daughters, Mrs. John Michel, of Granger; Mary Jeffers, of Hampton, Iowa; Lizzie Altemuns, of Wrightsonville, S. D.; Mrs. Dunbar, of Decorah; Anna Offin, of Bonair; and Alma Keune, of Albion, three brother and three sisters, 37 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, besides a large circle of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bronner gave testimony of an experience of the Christian religion in years gone by. She was a regular attendant at the church services and a member of the church. Her place is now vacant. She was an affectionate mother to her children, especially to those who met with misfortune and sickness.
The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon from the Albion Evangelical church and in charge of her pastor, Rev. Schwab.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Cedar Hill Cemetery shows her name as Mary. Her age as shown on her gravestone does not agree with the above.
