Mrs. Geo. Hollister passed away last Thursday after a long illness. The funeral is being held today, being held to allow of the arrival of relatives from a distance.

OBITUARY.
HOLLISTER.
Passing of an Old Resident.
Elizabeth White Goldy was born in Elmira, N. Y., Sept. 17th, 1832, only daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann Goldy. At the age of 15 years she joined the Congregational church and came west to Rockton, Ill., with her parents in 1849. Married Geo. W. Hollister July 23rd, 1856. In 1858 they settled on a farm near Cresco, Iowa, where they lived until 1898, then moved to Cresco where they have since resided.
She passed to the great beyond Feb. 3, 1910, leaving a husband, one daughter May G. Doolittle and one son Chas. H. Hollister, two grandchildren Rollo and Ralph Doolittle, and one great grand child Lawrence Doolittle. She had eight brothers, James, John, William, Joseph, Samuel, Stephen and Benjamin, all of whom have preceded her except Benjamin who lives at Shirland, Ill., who with his wife and niece Miss Mae Goldy were here to the funeral.
