Two Drowned While Bathing.
While bathing in the Mississippi river at Dubuque, John Schwendinger, aged forty years, and Lewis Traut, aged nineteen, were drowned.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1866 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.
