Two Drowned While Bathing.
While bathing in the Mississippi river at Dubuque, John Schwendinger, aged forty years, and Lewis Traut, aged nineteen, were drowned.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born February, 1888 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque. The spelling of his first name was Louis.
