Henry Achatz, one of the oldest settlers in Bristol township, north of Granger, died Saturday, Feb. 15, aged 89 years. He was one of the original homesteaders of his county, filing in 1856 on the land he has always occupied since.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Canton, MN and that he was born July 23, 1819.
