Mrs. Charles Combs passed away very suddenly last Saturday evening at her home in Cresco. The funeral takes place tomorrow forenoon.

Obituary.
Helen Casper was born in the city of Bonn, Germany, Dec. 25, 1853, where she grew to womanhood and married Mr. Bundrick. In 1891, they emigrated to this country settling here in Cresco. Seven children were born to them, 6 sons and 1 daughter who, with the exception of one son who died in earliest infancy and another at the age of 18 years who died in Chattanoga,{sic} Tenn., while serving as a volunteer in the Spanish-American War, survive to mourn the loss of a kind, loving mother. In 1899 she was married to Charles Combs who is also left to mourn her loss. Deceased passed away rather suddenly on Saturday last, January 11th. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
