Mrs. McCarville pased{sic} away yesterday morning at her home in Cresco. The funeral will take place on Saturday with interment in the cemetery at Lourdes.

MCCARVILLE:
Mrs. Elizabeth McCarville was born in County Monohan, Ireland, and passed away at her home in Cresco on Thursday, Oct. 17, 1907, having attained the age of 80 years.
In 1846, in Ireland, she was united in marriage to Philip McCarville, who preceeded her in death in 1884. They came to Howard County in 1870 and made their home near Lourdes. Several years after the death of her husband, the deceased moved to Cresco where she has made her home for several years with the exception of the year 1906 which was spent at Worthington, Minn., where a daughter resides.
To mourn the loss of a loving mother are left eight sons and daughters: Mrs. Bernard Doherty, of St. Cloud, Minn., Mrs. P. J. Martin, of Worthington, Minn., and Julia, Thomas, Francis, Philip, Michael and Richard, of Cresco and vicinity, all of whom except the second named were present at the funeral. In addition to her children, she leaves 33 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral took place on Saturday forenoon from the Church of the Assumption with interment in the Lourdes cemetery where the husband is buried.
