The remains of John Lukesh, a former Cresco resident, arrived in Cresco last week and were taken to Protivin for interment. The deceased passed away at Minneapolis from an attack of typhoid.

The interment of the remains of the late John Lukes who died in St. Paul last week took place in our St. Trinity cemetery on Tuesday, Oct. 8th.

Transcriber’s Note: The last name is reported both as Lukesh and Lukes.
