Mrs. James Walton passed away last Friday at her home at Perham, Minn., after a long illness from diabetes. The remains were brought to Cresco on Monday for interment. The funeral was held this afternoon from the residence of Joseph Walton.

WALTON.
Mary J. Walton was born in Elkader, Iowa, June 25, 1857, and died Nov. 30, 1906, at Perham, Minn. She was married in 1874 to James Walton. Two children were born to them—Emmet J. Walton and Mrs. Pearl E. Roberts—both or whom, together with the husband, three sisters and three brothers, survive her. The remains were brought to Cresco Monday and the funeral was held at the home of Joseph Walton, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. H. Hinman officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn.
