OBITUARY
GILL:
Helen M. Gill was born July 26, 1834 at Windsor, Vermont, and passed away Sunday morning, November 25, at 4 o’clock, aged 72 years and five months. She had been ill with paralysis for about three years. December 27, 1849 she was married to G. S. Gill, and to them eight children were born, John, Anna, Sarah, Charles, Luthera, George, Helen and Robert. She became a resident of Howard county in 1882. She was a faithful member of the Congregational church and its pastor, Rev. H. J. Hinman, conducted the funeral at the late home of the deceased, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
