Jacob Malicheck died on Saturday, Jan. 19th, and was buried at the Protivin cemetery Monday, Jan. 21st. The deceased was an old citizen and and{sic} well respected, as the very large attendance indicated.

Transcriber’s Note: Holy Trinity Cemetery shows the spelling of his last name as Malacek and that he was born July 7, 1827.
