HANSON,
Elmer James Hanson, son of Peter and Mary Hanson, was born Sept. 6, 1900 and died Feb. 24, 1904, of scarlet fever.
On account of the nature of the disease public services at the church could not be held, but a short service was conducted at the the{sic} house,
The body was interred in Oak Lawn cemetery on Saturday last.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone shows the spelling of last name as Hansen.
