LIBBEY.
Mrs. Roena Libbey was born in Sanford, Maine, January 23.1829 and died at her home in Orleans twp. February 25, 1904, aged 75 years, 1 month and 2 days.
She was married to Luther S. Libbey, April 3, 1852. To them were born three children, one son and two daughters. They moved from Maine to Iowa, in 1857, where they settled on a farm about two miles east of the present home, living there about four years when they purchased the present homestead and moved onto it in 1861. Her husband died January 3, 1892. She leaves two brothers and one sister besides her three children to mourn her death.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.

God in His wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.

CARD OF THANKS.
We wish to return our sincere thanks to the many kind friends and neighbors who so willingly assisted us during the sickness, death and burial of our beloved mother.
