Our people were unexpectedly shocked to learn Sunday morning that Mrs. Geo Breedlove was dead. She was taken ill Wednesday but it was not considered dangerous till the day following, when it was pronounced to be peritonitis. Her death occurred Sunday morning about five o’clock. She leaves a husband and four little children, the youngest about two years old. The funeral occurs today at the home at 2 p.m.

OBITUARY.
BREEDLOVE.
Belle, daughter of John and Elizabeth Walton, was born in Orleans twp., Winnesheik{sic} county, Iowa, Oct. 3, 1865, and departed this life May 10, 1903, at her home in Cresco, after three or four days of intense suffering, being too sick and weak to speak to her family. She was married to George Breedlove Jan. 1, 1890, and to them were born five children, two girls and three boys, one boy dying in infancy. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a kind neighbor, and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, four little children, a father and brother, several near and dear relatives and a boat of friends. She bee been frail for years but has had the tender care of a fond and loving husband to shelter and help her to bear life’s trials. Upon him falls the burden of a great loss and loneliness. Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday, by Rev. Gammons. A. throng of friends and beautiful flowers spoke of the love which she had inspired. She rests in New Oregon cemetery.
