John Heuser died rather suddenly Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. F. Allen in Cresco. The deceased was 67 years of age and has resided with his daughter ever since their coming to Cresco, but seldom left their living apartments on account of his crippled condition from rheumatism. The funeral occurred yesterday from the church of the Assumption. A son of the deceased and his wife, from Spillville, Iowa, were in attendance at the funeral.
