Obituary of Mrs. Siddall.
Vilettie Young was born in Upper Canada, Dec. 7, 1810, and died in Cresco, Aug. 8, 1902, at the home of her son James A. Siddall. In 1831 she was married to James Siddall. Five children blessed their union, two girls and three boys, Mrs. Mary Woodard, Mrs. Nancy Howland, James, Daniel and Albert Siddall. Only two, James and Daniel remain to mourn her loss, also several grandchildren. She was a kind and loving mother, loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by a large circle of relatives and friends.
She has been a great sufferer for many months, being confined to her bed most of the time. During this time she was patient and kind and welcomed the summons to a better world. Some of her last words were: “The Bible says, pray without ceasing.” Her mind remained clear until within a few days of her death. She joined the Free Will Baptist church at the age of 18 and was a faithful member until her death.
CARD OF THANKS.
To friends and neighbors who so kindly aided us during the sickness and death of our mother, we extend our heartfelt thanks, also to the singers and friends for the beautiful flowers.
MR. AND MRS. J. A. SIDDALL.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in New Oregon Cemetery shows the spelling of her first name as Viletta
