Mrs. I. B. Howland died very unexpectedly Monday morning, and the funeral will be held to-day in Lime Springs.

Obituary.
DIED—At her home in Lime Springs October 28,1900, Nancy, wife of Isaac B. Howland, aged 63 years, 11 months
and 2 days.
Nancy Siddall was born in South Hould Canada West, Nov. 26th, 1836. Her parents moved to Rosco, Ill. April 1839. She was married Aug. I9th 1853 to Isaac B. Howland. She moved with her husband to Howard county, Ia. March 1854. She united with the Baptist church in 1860. She was the mother of seven children one having died in infancy, six now living. Alice Hattie, Emma, Arthur, Mary and Charles. She was a loving and affectionate wife and mother, was a kind neighbor always ready to oiler a helping hand to a friend in trouble. She leaves an aged mother, husband and children and brothers and sisters who mourn her death. She died Oct. 28th 1900. She has gone to her reward.

Transcriber’s Note: Pleasant Hill Cemetery records indicate that Nancy Howland was born Nov. 26, 1837 and died Oct. 28. 1900.
