Frank Perkins, son of H. H. Perkins, of New Oregon, and his wife living near Council Bluffs were taken with fever which soon developed into pneumonia from which one died on Sunday, two weeks ago, and the other on Tuesday. Their only child was very low with the same trouble so that Mr. Perkins was unable to bring it home with him.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows that Frank was born in 1856 and died April 10, 1900 and his wife Clara was born in 1860 and died April 8, 1900. They are buried in Tabor, Iowa.
