Thomas Clarkin{sic}, of Howard county, died Saturday. He was well known in New Hampton and Chickasaw county and was esteemed by all who knew him. He was a brother of the late John Clarken, and a brother of Francis Clarken, of Lawler.—New Hampton Tribune.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery shows the spelling as Clarken.
