Darold Ranc, 53, services held Wednesday, May 22

Funeral services for Darold Ranc of Mason City, formerly of Cresco, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at St. James Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Duffus officiating. Interment was in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery. Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel handled the arrangements.
Darold, 53, died Saturday, May 18, 2002 at his home.
Darold Frank Ranc was born June 1, 1948 in Cresco, the son of Frank and Florence (Kilby) Ranc. He attended school in Cresco and later worked on vehicles and performed various mechanical work.
On June 28, 1997 he married Faye Stump in Mason City.
He enjoyed his mechanical work, being outdoors, and occasionally gambling.
He is survived by his wife Faye and her children; four brothers: LeRoy Linderman. Ronald Linderman. Dale Linderman, and Francis Ranc; and two sisters: Lucille Crom and Alice Ranc.
Darold was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Robert Linderman and Donnie Linderman (in infancy); and one sister: Pauline Espinoza.
