Inurnment for G. Ekanger held
Glenice Ekanger of Minneapolis, MN was cremated and no services were held. Inurnment was in Dawn Valley Cemetery in Bloomington, MN.
Glenice, 91, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at her home in Minneapolis, MN of natural causes.
Glenice was a former resident of the Saratoga and Chester area where she was born and raised. She received her education in the rural schools.
On June 12, 1936 Glenice Kelsey married Lloyd Ekanger in Cresco. They farmed in Howard County and moved to Osage to retire in 1970, and after the death of her husband she moved to Minneapolis to be closer to her family.
She is survived by seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Opal Klingsheim of California and Thea Gould of Colorado.
Glenice was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd on June 18, 1994; and one daughter: Darlene Clausen.
