METRO DEATHS
WATERLOO-Anthony G. “Tony” McBride, 45, of 3730 Pearl Lane, died Monday, Nov. 5, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.
He was born Sept. 18, 1956, in Cresco, son of Anthony F. and Virginia M. Shimek McBride.
He married Lynne Aspelmeier on June 26,1993.
Mr. McBride was a 1974 graduate of Crestwood High School, Cresco, and also was a graduate of Bryan College, Dayton, Term. He had been employed as a general manager at Image Pointe for 20 years.
Survived by: his wife; two daughters,
Courtney and Chelsea McBride, both of Waterloo; his parents of Waterloo; four brothers, James of Ivory Coast, Africa, Michael of Independence, William of Peachtree City, Ga., and Patrick of Golden, Colo.; and seven sisters, Mary Hicok of Waterloo, Julie Mlinar of Spring Valley, Minn., Amy Lowery of Pensacola, Fla., Carol Borschel and Teresa Drtina, both of Marion, Sally Johnson of Whitefish, Mont., and Lucy Ferguson of Presedio, Texas.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cedar Valley Community Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
