Services held for Stephen Kraft, 48
The funeral service was held for Stephen Kraft on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lime Springs, Iowa with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Kraft, 48, of Lime Springs, died Thursday (Jan. 25, 2001) at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa.
He was born July 8, 1952, in Lake City, Iowa, son of Leo and Zoan (Richardson) Kraft. He married Kris McCloud on May 13, 1978, in Saratoga, Iowa.
Steve and Kris were blessed in their marriage with four children.
Steve worked at John Deere plants in Dubuque and Cedar Falls. He worked at Thermogas/Ostrander Farmers Co-op for 18 years. He was active with the Volunteer Fire Department, Park and Swimming Pool Board, church council and school activities. He was involved in softball, coaching teams and officiating games.
Survivors include his wife, Kris, children, Dustin, Lacie, Drew and Ethan; his parents, Leo and Zoan Kraft of Chester, Iowa; his maternal grandmother, Genevieve Kraft of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two brothers, Charlie (Roxanne) of Cresco, Iowa, Kevin (Debbie) of Roxboro, North Carolina; and two sisters, Suanne (Michael) Kraft and Rebecca (Thomas) Murphy, both of La Crosse, Wis., his father in law & mother in law, Bill & Meda McCloud of LeRoy, Minn., brothers-in-law; Jerry (Cece) McCloud, Billy (Kay) McCloud and Randy (Vicki) McCloud all of LeRoy, Minn., Tim (Corrine) McCloud of Hutchinson, Minn., and sister-in-law, Vicki (Curt) Davis of Bernice, Oklahoma, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
