Services were held for Emma M. Humphrey at 1 p.m. on Friday May 11, 2001 at the Mclntire United Methodist Church in Mclntire, Iowa with the Rev. Mike Carey officiating. Interment was in the Chester Hill Cemetery near Chester, Iowa.
Emma Marie Humphrey age 91 of LeRoy, Minn, died Tuesday May 8, 2001 at the Ostrander Nursing Home where she had resided for a short time.
She was born January 27, 1910 near Mclntire, Iowa to Curtis Jones and Margaret Hansen Jones. She attended country schools near LeRoy and was united in marriage to Floyd Bloes. They were later divorced. She was then married to Howard Angle who later passed away. She was then married to Paul Humphrey.
Emma was a member of T.O.P.S. and enjoyed crocheting for different groups. She was also active in her church.
She is survived by two sisters Marie (Carl) Peterson of Grand Meadow, Minn, and Margaret George of LeRoy. One brother, Wilbur Jones of Austin, Minn, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother Edward, and one nephew David Jones.
