Services held for Luella Grimm
Funeral services for Luella Grimm were held on Saturday, February 17 .at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. Hubert Boschert officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Scott Grimm, Dan Grimm, Jeff Grimm, Jason Grimm, Chris Lan- gan and Steve Williams. Mayer Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Luella, 88, died Monday, February 12, 2001 at her home.
Luella Grimm was born March 7, 1912 in Cresco, the daughter of Lewis and Bridget (McCann) Ferrie.
On October 27, 1936 she married Joseph Grimm in Cresco.
She enjoyed baking and doing handwork.
Survivors include five daughters: Joan Severson of Austin, MN, Carol Langan of Eagan, MN, Virginia Williams of Ft. Myers, FL, Cathy Pyster of Hastings, MN, Dottie Hockford of Valley Park, MN; two sons: Fred of Charlotte, NC and David of Shakopee; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Luella was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters; and seven brothers.
