Services held for Gladys Farr, 79
Gladys E. (Clapp) Farr, 79, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 21, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.
She was born April 14, 1922 in Howard County, daughter of George and Jennie Hansen Clapp. She married Dallas G. Farr on July 30, 1942 in Washburn, who died March 6, 1989.
Mrs. Farr worked for Campus Cleaners in Cedar Falls for 41 years, retiring in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Leslie D. Farr and Darrell Farr, both of Waterloo; seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Dallas G. Farr, Jr.; a daughter, Nancy L. Clifton; one brother and one sister.
Services were Wednesday at Immanuel Presbyterian Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Presbyterian Church or the family.
